Looks Cool, how does it work?

Choose from our 15 passenger bike “Pedals & Pints,” our 6 person COBI, or our 4 person ZEM, answer a couple quick questions, make your payment, sign the waiver, and attempt to wait patiently for your date and time (good luck with that!). At our starting location, we will greet you, get your crew loaded, seats adjusted, sound check, and rules out of the way, then it’s time to party! Everyone pedals the bike through town, stopping at various breweries and restaurants to rehydrate and sample local suds and fare. Provided drivers ensure that your next get-together, company outing, birthday party, girls’ night out, bachelorette or bachelor party is a safe and memorable experience.

How much does it cost and how long are the tours?

Standard bike bar tours are 2 hours long and cost $300 (about $20 per person with a full crew of 15). Bring a few bucks for parking! A complete tour schedule and availability can be found HERE.

Can I drink on board?

The city of Boise no longer allows beer or wine on board. We encourage you to stay hydrated by bringing your own water bottle with a locking lid filled with your favorite beverage!

How much should I tip our driver?

As you would with any other worker in the service industry, you can base the amount of your tip on the level of service. Nonetheless, the baseline standard of 15% to 20% as a tip should apply. If the service is noticeably subpar, a 10% tip may be appropriate; however, contact us to report any service issues that warranted a low tip. Remember, a tip of 20% should apply to the total amount of your tour rental. While it may seem generous to tip a driver just $20, Pedals & Pints rents for $300 per tour- so a 20% tip of $60 for excellent service would only be fair.

Where do tours start? Where do they end? And where can we go?

Standard tours will begin and end BEHIND the Boise art collective on 12th and Grove. If you park in the lot, make sure you pay! We ask that your entire party arrive 15 minutes prior to departure, allowing time to load the bike and go over safety rules and regulations. Tours are two hours and, barring any traffic issues or excruciating hills, the Pedals & Pints bike bar is allowed to venture wherever you’d like, within reason, of course. Your driver has final say of where your tour may go, and will provide a handful of recommended routes.

How many people are allowed on board? What's the minimum number that can pedal the bike bar?

In addition to the provided driver, 15 people are allowed to ride. There are two seats above the wheels that are not equipped with pedals – three others fit comfortably on the back bench (also, without pedals). To depart, a minimum of 10 riders is needed.

Can I just jump on when I see Pedals & Pints rolling by?

No, Pedals & Pints always starts and ends BEHIND the Boise art collective on 12th and Grove.

What if there are only a few of us?

No problem! Choose one of our smaller bikes like the 6 person COBI (driver provided) or the 4 person ZEM (no driver provided). However you should have a minimum of 10 people to book the big bike.

How do I book and pay for a tour?

See the Book Now page. Navigate to your chosen date, then select from the remaining time slots. Simply enter your credit card information and pay in full.

Is it safe?

Yes. The Pedals & Pints bike rolls along comfortably at a rate of 8-10 mph. Liability waivers are required for all riders and can be found HERE.

Can I just print the waiver and bring it with me?

No. (But wait- here's a really good "Why"!): Since the Pedals & Pints bike already gets great fuel mileage, we like to continue to have as little impact on our world, so we've made it really easy for you to complete our Liability Waiver from any device that can access the internet! Simply click or tap HERE to complete!

What is the cancellation policy?

You may cancel 7 days or more from your tour date, and receive a full refund. You can also choose to move your booking to a future date with notice of 7 days or more. If you cancel your tour within 7 days of your scheduled date, half your payment will be forfeited.

Who's in charge?

Your driver is the boss. What they say goes- listen to them!

If you have any questions regarding tour safety and the rules to follow, give us a call or see your driver before climbing aboard. See you soon on Pedals & Pints!
